This weekend promises to be very good
.. My brother is coming home this weekend !! YAY! I havent seen him in what feels like forever and i am dying to hear stories from his trip to Armenia and London. Still havent found a job but i have applied to 7 places so far
I just wish one of those places would actually call me back!!!
Oh well, there is always the volunteer circuit to fall back on, but i really really really REALLY need the money, i am in college for gosh sakes!! Well, if i cant find a job now maybe i will find one over christmas break or maybe a weekend job while i am at school. Went to see Star Wars for the second time last night, it is so much better than episode II , I still think the old ones are the best though, you just cant beat the old trilogy, even with all this new technology and graphics.

We have been interested in visiting Armenia ever since we lived in Cyprus (1981-84), which had a sizeable Armenian community.
It's difficult to get good information but Lonely Planet brought out a
new version of their Caucasus guide last summer and we've based our
ideas on that, even though it is not considered very reliable by some
on the Lonely Planet forum, where we got more up to date and detailed
information: Thorn Tree
It's going to be quite hot: BBC weather statistics.
A major problem is that Turkey's borders with Armenia are closed and so
the available routes were complicated: flying - few flights and
difficult to get tickets organised, through Georgia - dangerous and
unpredictable, Iran - a bit complicated. Finally we've got
tickets and will leave Oman on 16th June to begin.
